Fiely Matias, along with writing the original book 'Reebee Dedoo Dada' upon which Zazzie Sings! is based, has also co-created and directed the award-nominated NYC Off-Broadway production of 'Disenchanted!'.
Having had directed countless musicals and comedy plays over the
past 25 years, Matias is a proud member of SDC (Stage Directors and Choreographers Society.
Awards for Matias' directorial work include 'Best National Show' (Daily City News, 'Disenchanted!') 'Best Musical' and 'Best Comedy' (USA National GLBT Theatre Festival), 'Best Comedy' (Ottawa Fringe Theatre Festival), Producers Award (Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival), and 'Best of Fest' at the Orlando, San Francisco, and Saskatoon Fringe Theatre Fests.
Most recently, Matias directed the successful workshop productions of Zazzie Sings! in North Carolina and Oregon as well as the Seattle premiere workshop of Jacques LaMarre's dark comedy 'My Vhite House Christmas Spashial with Melania (Live From Trump Tower).'
A longtime member of AEA (Actors Equity Association), Matias has performed at theaters throughout the USA, Canada, and internationally. He originated the role of the Asp in Annie 2 at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC and has toured throughout North America with IMAGO Theatre Mask Ensemble.

A full member of the DGA (Dramatists Guild of America), Giacino co-created and wrote the book, music, and lyrics for the Off-Broadway musical hit ‘Disenchanted!'

Giacino's musicals and comedy plays have performed to critical acclaim, awards and nominations, and sold out engagements in New York City as well as cities around North America: Los Angeles, Toronto, Orlando, San Fran Bay Area, Chicago, Nashville, Calgary, Hartford, Minneapolis, San Antonio, St. Louis, Tampa, Philadelphia, Edmonton, Salt Lake City, Vancouver, Omaha, Montreal, Boston, Halifax, Miami - just to name a few.
Internationally, Giacino's works have garnered successful runs on a North American tour (Disenchanted!), throughout the U.K. (England, Scotland), Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Mexico, The Netherlands, Denmark, France, Spain, Argentina, China, and the Dominican Republic.
Awards and nominations for Giacino's writings include the Lucille Lortel Awards, the Outer Critics Circle for ‘Outstanding New Off-Broadway Musical,’ the Off Broadway Alliance for ‘Best New Musical,' winner of the New Jersey Playwrights Contest - 'Best Musical,' MINDIE Awards for 'Best Musical' (Italy), Premios ACE Awards - 'Best Musical,' 'Best Production' (Argentina), Premios Soberano Awards (Dominican Republic), Premios Teatro Musical ('Best Musical' (Spain), as well as BroadwayWorld award nominations and wins worldwide.
