ALL ABOUT 'ZAZZIE!'
Zazzie Sings! is the new feel-good musical about a cat that loves to sing. Tonight, she’s performing a concert of her most favorite songs in front of a sold-out crowd - there's an electricity and excitement that fills the air! That's, of course, until Roz, The Rat, The Reviewer shows up. She hates everything! With a chip on her shoulder and a bit of figurative poison in her pen, Roz heckles Zazzie; a rat bully through and through.
As Zazzie's friends give into peer pressure and jump on the bullying band wagon, our feline heroine rushes off vowing never to sing again. How does one deal with being bullied? Zazzie and her friends learn the importance of self-confidence, friendship, kindness, and finding ones calling in life.
Based on the Fiely Matias book Reebee Dedoo Dada, the new musical Zazzie Sings!, along with being hilarious and uplifting, melodically tackles the subjects of bullying, peer pressure, and forgiveness.

Giacino receiving a bronze star out front of the Majestic Theatre.
Community Outreach
The creators of Zazzie Sings! have facilitated readings of source material for the musical (Reebee Dedoo Dada) as well as anti-bullying workshops and discussions in schools, boys and girls clubs, and libraries on both coasts of the USA. In addition, the Salem-Keizer School District purchased 100 copies of Reebee Dedoo Dada to distribute to school counselors throughout the system.
Matias and Giacino read Reebee Dedoo Dada and facilitate a discussion about
bullying awareness in classrooms from North Carolina to Oregon.
