CASTING INFO - Roles to feature everyone!
9 ROLES: Inclusive, diverse, and non-traditional casting is encouraged
Zazzie - A cat who just loves to sing. Everybody's friend, kind, quick and witty sense of humor.
Kirby - A lovable, high-energy rabbit Zazzie's stage manager and best friend; the show's comic relief.
Roz - An overly-critical rat who writes reviews for the local paper. An ex-dancer who is a real bully.
Frankie - Roz's minion who is a swoon-worthy sidekick. Charming, charismatic, a heart throb.
Delilah & Hope - Twin gophers (though they don't look anything alike). Think the Abbott and Costello of gopher-dom, the Laurel and Hardy of the animal kingdom. Both are theatre lovers with Delilah being the Alpha personality while Hope is the goofy, well-meaning second banana.
Padgett, Peyton, Blair - The Pigeons Three - a trio of intensely nervous pigeons that love live music and theatre shows. Padgett is the leader and often takes charge. Peyton is a free spirit with a unique sense of logic. Blair is the self-proclaimed, sarcastic, know-it-all of the trio.
CHORUS: A chorus of city-dwelling critters may be added to 'Zazzie Sings!'
